Are you ready to Immerse yourself into the mesmerizing sounds of the band called “Acid walls?”
They are a hard-pyschadelic rock band all the way from Conneticut. Some influences of the sound are from bands like, “Black Sabbath” and “Soundgarden.” Acid walls had recently just released a debut EP tilted “Glass Pieces” on February 16th, 2024. This is a psychedelic captivation of the senses, through its sounds and lyrics.
They are described as a band that has a hypnotic sound with live performances, they have really captivated a loyal following of their fans and it is all thanks to their stage presence onstage, and they also engage a lot on social media with their fans. Not only do they engage with their fans quite frequently, they are also advocates of mental health, trying to spread awareness and explores the intricacy of the human emotions through the creation of their musical sound.
“Glass Pieces” is such a great way to showcase what Acid Walls is about, through their storytelling and emotionally driven music. The new EP dives into the cmplexitiy that is the human experiences and helps by showcasing self-discovery and as well as not only just relating to the fans, but releates to the band and their personal struggles behind closed doors. Their new EP invites the listener to dive into their shoes wether this is something that weighs them down or not.
The band’s single, “Glass Piece Pt.2” a powerful track that shows themes of identity and belonging, has intense sounds and poignant lyrics to help connect the listener to the song by taking something so deep and personal and bringing light and attention to it because bringing awareness to what thousands of people struggle with everyday can help others who may not understand, try to be there for their friend or other relationship to them.
Acid Walls celebrated the release of “Glass Pieces” by hosting a one of a kind show that took place on February 16th, 2024, at a enue called Bleachers in Bristol, ct. Other artists had joined them as well! From Qween Kong, t0 Skavss, and Soft Spot. That night promised a night of comradery, and endless energy, and a heartfelt awareness to mental health as well.
As Acid Walls continues to make a name for themselves, “Glass Pieces” has definitely made quite the attraction for the band, and continues to amaze people by their sound and melodies. This EP will surely leave a lasting impression on those to come, and will change the face of Rock Music forever.
