On Wednesday, March 13th, under the guise of heavy rainfall and an impending winter storm warning, Between You & Me headlined an electric show at the Marquis Theater in Denver, Colorado. The Aussie natives were joined alongside Young Culture, Homesafe, and Cherie Amour. The ambience of a snowy Colorado night made it an exciting one to remember.

The night kicked off with Cherie Amour performing their song Burn. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, they really set the mood for the night with their nu-punk sound. The band rounded off their set with the song Orlando

Homesafe kept the night rolling by opening the set with their song Relapse. The three-piece brought a lively energy to the room as they played their new song SRY2SAY. The highlight of their set was when they swiftly transitioned into their 2018 hit Vanilla-Scented Laser Beams. Homesafe expertly warmed the crowd up before it was time for Young Culture to take the stage.

Hailing from Albany, New York, Young Culture is always a pleasure to see live. They opened with their song Party Girl, which really got the crowd moving. While performing their song Drift, lead singer Alex Magnan got into the crowd and sang along with the audience. During Better off as Friends, they got the first crowd surfer of the night. The band then slowed down slightly for their song Hailey Beverly 2016, before picking it right back up again with the upbeat banger Shiver. They ended their set off strong with Holiday in Vegas, leaving their mark on the stage before the headliner came on.

As the lights dimmed, the crowd became ecstatic, knowing that it was only moments before Between You & Me would take the stage. They opened with their song Dakota, as the crowd gained more energy. They soon went into Nevermind, a bouncy song about searching for a California kind of vibe. They continued with their songs YEAH! and Pleased to Meet You. They introduced the next song by asking the audience their opinions of the movie Shrek, to which they responded by playing a cover of the song Allstar by Smashmouth. They closed out the show with their last two songs of the night Deadbeat and Butterflies. During their final song of the night, members of the audience got onto the stage and danced along with the band.

Despite the snow on Wednesday night, Between You & Me, Young Culture, Homesafe, and Cherie Amour put on the best possible show. The vibes in the room that night were immaculate and full of so much energy and excitement. There are still 15 more dates of this tour to come, if you have the opportunity to see these bands in a city near you, do it!
