San Diego native band almost monday has just completed the second leg of their 2023 touring season. The band started the new year with their Only Wanna Dance Tour, named after their then-unreleased single by the same name. The group started by doing small shows in their community before branching out to bigger shows and eventually touring with artists such as The Driver Era, Joywave, and, coming this summer AJR. Now the band has fans across the world excited to see them live, with some traveling across the country to see the group multiple times in a run.
The group kicked off their Only Wanna Dance Tour in New York City at the end of January and played across the country throughout February. Playing in states like Utah, Michigan, Wisconsin, and multiple home-state shows. The boys had the chance to connect with fans across the country and even some in Canada for their date in Toronto.
Playing crowd favorites like broken people, sunburn, and their 2022 release cough drops, the band shared moments of joy and community between fans, artists, and their tour team. The lead singer of almost monday, Dawson Daughtery, spent his time interacting with fans on stage, singing with fans in the front few rows, and answering requests to be fans' valentines between songs. An almost monday show is not only a space for live music, but a space for friendship and connection.
Following the end of their Only Wanna Dance Tour the band announced a limited run of additional dates on a co-headline tour with band, The Moss. These shows could cover states their original schedule had missed and allowed fans to see them again after the release of their newest single, Only Wanna Dance was released.
