Olen and Cinders return to Colorado for a headline show after opening together for Sub-Radio during their 1990 Something tour in the winter of 2022. The artists took the stage at Lost Lake Lounge on March 12th with Colorado local band The Mssng opening for the two main acts.

The crowd was small but mighty, with many fans returning to see the show after seeing the groups open for Sub-Radio in Denver only a few months before.

There was an exciting stir throughout the room as the openers went on, filling the room with excitement. The Mssing showed the crowd an amazing time and interacted with the crowd for the duration of the show. The audience could be heard singing along through the entire set. From jumping up on the front of stage speakers to holding the microphone to fans, the band brought in current fans while new fans found them that evening.

Following the opening act came Cinders; the group played fan favorites throughout the night. The set featured an outstanding accordion solo, heartwarming moments, and lyrics that pulled at the heartstrings of many fans. At one point in the show, lead singer Montana had the crowd gather around in a circle and sing along with him, even including Olen by handing him the microphone for a line of the song. Before leaving the stage, the band was sure to sing their so-called lockdown song, Still Alive, a song that always brings a moment of connection and community to the audience, as they remember they are there in the current moment alive.

The crowd welcomed Olen to the Lost Lake stage to close out the night. With his fun and humorous stage presence and thoughtfully written lyrics, Olen gave fans an amazing show full of laughs and moments of connection between performer and audience member. Playing some of his most popular songs, Olen provided a wide variety of his work, including multiple songs from his much anticipated EP.

Like Cinders, Olen pulled out songs certain to pull on the crowd's heartstrings. These songs include his 2022 release Off Switch discusses his experiences with mental health and a message that many can find themselves relating to, as well as his song Low AF, released two days after the show.

After the show, the artists greeted friends and fans alike, offering opportunities for photographers or just a minute to reconnect with the artists who changed the lives of so many fans present that night.

Olen and Cinders will return to touring in early August in cities along the west coast.
